Yet Another Overclocking Page - Sorta.

The purpose of this page is not to teach people how to overclock - everyone and their dog has a page like that. Rather, this page's purpose is to serve as an archive and a reference for people wishing to overclock, to see how high they can safely take their CPU before it starts smoking and catching fire.

On this page, you'll find a link where you can share your overclocking experience with others, and a link where you can search the database for other people who have been successfully able to overclock CPUs similar to the one you own.

Notice this page is ad-free. I intend to keep it that way, unless like a zillion people start coming here and I feel I can somehow get rich off this - er, I mean, I feel I need the money to pay for a better server for this page. I sincerely doubt you'll ever see an ad on this page. :)

The author of this page, though he has overclocked every CPU he owns, in no way endorses any of the activities that are discussed on this page. Should you decide to overclock your CPU, and should your CPU explode and cause your house to burn down and your dog to run away, I am in no way responsible! That having been said, good luck, if you do decide to overclock your CPU.

Update: 7/15/98 (PM): Interesting news from a visitor:

If you've got a Celeron to add to the overclock list, perhaps make a note of the S-number if you happen to know it in the comment section.

Update: 7/2/98: The site is back up, after a long downtime. I'm terribly sorry for the unexpected disappearance of the site, but I moved and I've only just recently gotten the whole IP and DNS situation straightened out here. Thank you for your patience, however.

Please be advised, this page is still under construction, though all the important stuff does work.
